Pro Forma Invoice Issued
A Pro Forma Invoice confirming the final order value, including any applicable delivery charges, is emailed to you for review and approval.
Approval & Payment
Once you approve the confirmed order total, payment can be completed using your preferred available method. Payment must be received before production begins.

What is a ChromaLuxe® Metal Print?
A ChromaLuxe® Metal Print is a high-definition photographic or artwork reproduction produced on specially coated aluminium using dye-sublimation technology.
The process creates a vibrant, highly detailed image with a sleek, contemporary presentation and durable printed surface.
How is the image printed onto the aluminium?
Your image is first reproduced using specialist dye-sublimation inks and is then transferred under controlled heat and pressure into the specially coated ChromaLuxe® aluminium surface.
Rather than sitting as a conventional ink layer on top of the material, the dyes become infused into the coating, producing exceptional colour vibrancy, clarity and durability.
What is included with my ChromaLuxe® Metal Print?
Your personalised design is supplied as a professionally produced ChromaLuxe® aluminium Metal Print with the rear hanging system fitted during production.
The finished print arrives ready for installation using appropriate wall fixings for the selected size and wall type.
What sizes and formats are available?
JBM Displays offers personalised ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints in the formats and sizes displayed within the online Design Studio.

Are ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints supplied ready to hang?
Yes. A professional rear hanging system is fitted during production, allowing the finished Metal Print to be installed after delivery.
Appropriate wall fixings should always be selected for your wall construction and the size of the finished print.
What finish is used on JBM Displays Metal Prints?
This Design Studio collection uses a high-definition ChromaLuxe® gloss surface designed to deliver strong colour saturation, crisp detail and a brilliant contemporary presentation.
What type of images work best on ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints?
ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints are particularly well suited to photography and artwork containing strong colour, contrast, fine detail and visually rich imagery.
Landscapes, wildlife, architecture, automotive photography, abstract artwork and high-impact photographic images can reproduce especially well on the gloss surface.
Will the printed colours look exactly like my screen?
Screen brightness, colour settings and device calibration vary, so a printed image cannot be guaranteed to appear exactly the same as it does on every computer, tablet or phone.
ChromaLuxe® dye-sublimation is designed to produce highly vibrant, detailed colour reproduction, but some difference between an illuminated screen and the finished print is normal.
Artwork & File Preparation
How do I supply my artwork or photograph?
Select Start Design to open the online Design Studio, choose your preferred Metal Print size, upload your photograph or artwork and position it within the print area.
Wherever possible, upload the original high-resolution image directly from your camera, phone, editing software or original artwork file.
What file type should I supply?
High-quality JPG, PNG, TIFF and PDF files are suitable for most photographic and artwork orders.
The most important consideration is supplying the highest quality and resolution available for the final print size.
What resolution should my image be?
Higher-resolution files provide greater flexibility when producing larger Metal Prints. The required resolution depends on the selected print size, image dimensions and intended viewing distance.
Whenever possible, provide the original full-resolution file rather than a reduced, compressed or screenshot version.
What happens if my artwork is too low resolution?
Your supplied artwork is reviewed before production. If the file appears unsuitable for the selected print size, JBM Displays can contact you before production begins.
Depending on the artwork, a smaller print size, alternative file or artwork preparation service may provide a better result.
Do you check my artwork before printing?
Yes. Supplied artwork is reviewed as part of the order process before production begins.
If an obvious technical issue is identified that may affect production or print quality, we can contact you before proceeding.
Will JBM Displays change or enhance my image automatically?
No. Your supplied artwork is reproduced from the file you provide unless an artwork preparation or design service has been selected.
This helps preserve the intended composition and creative appearance of your original artwork.
Should I use an image downloaded from social media?
Wherever possible, avoid images downloaded from social media platforms because they may have been resized or compressed.
The original photograph or artwork file will generally provide a better source for high-definition printing.

Yes. Complete each personalised design, select the required Metal Print size and quantity, and add it to your cart before submitting the order.
Can I order different sizes or formats together?

Production
Where are JBM Displays Metal Prints produced?
JBM Displays ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints are professionally printed and finished in Melbourne, Australia.
How are ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints produced?
The artwork is prepared for dye-sublimation transfer and produced using controlled heat and pressure to infuse the image into the coated ChromaLuxe® aluminium surface.
The print is then finished and the rear hanging system is fitted before the completed product is prepared for collection or delivery.
When does production begin?
Production begins after your order has been reviewed, the Pro Forma Invoice has been approved and payment has been received.

How durable are ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints?
ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints are designed to provide a highly durable photographic surface with strong resistance to moisture, scratches and normal handling when correctly displayed and maintained.
Are Metal Prints scratch resistant?
The ChromaLuxe® coated surface provides strong resistance to everyday scratching and handling, making it particularly suitable for professional and high-traffic display environments.
The surface should still be treated with care and abrasive materials should be avoided.
Are ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints moisture resistant?
Yes. The coated aluminium surface is moisture resistant, making ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints well suited to many environments where conventional paper-based artwork may require additional protection.
Can Metal Prints be displayed in bathrooms or humid interiors?
ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints are particularly well suited to many humid indoor environments because the aluminium and coated print surface resist moisture.
They should still be installed correctly and protected from prolonged direct water exposure.
Can ChromaLuxe® Metal Prints be displayed outdoors?
This Design Studio ChromaLuxe® collection is designed primarily for indoor display.
If you require a product for outdoor or continuously exposed conditions, please contact JBM Displays so we can discuss a suitable material and production solution.
Should Metal Prints be displayed in direct sunlight?
For the best long-term colour performance, we recommend avoiding continuous strong direct sunlight wherever practical.
Positioning artwork away from prolonged direct UV exposure helps protect colour and presentation over time.
How do I clean my ChromaLuxe® Metal Print?
Dust can be removed using a clean, soft microfibre cloth.
If required, lightly wipe the surface with a clean damp cloth and dry gently. Avoid abrasive pads or materials that may mark the gloss surface.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered.
If damage has occurred during transport, contact JBM Displays as soon as possible and include photographs of the product and packaging so we can assist you.
